Has anyone else heard about poisoned rats being ground up and put into the dog food? I know some sources show that many different things are put in pet food that we are not aware of! See My Source Link for details Could this be true?

I don't even need to click that link.

There are no ground up dead rats in the food. That would be illegal because it's not listed in the ingredients. They would be shut down if it was found they were putting something like that in the food without authorization from the FDA.

Rat poison, on the other hand, has been found in the food.

I haven't heard that, but I received an email from P & G who makes and Eukanuba dry foods at thier plants. They said, "we want to assure you that this recall affects only a small portion of our "wet" pet food products manufactured at the Menu Foods plant in Emporia, Kansas. "
But it might not be the makers of the dog and cat food doing this, there was a case a few years ago where a worker in an asperin factory was injecting a harmful liquid into the bottles after the bottles were sealed. The company only found out about it after people became ill after taking asperin made by this company. So it could be one worker doing this and the whole company is going to look bad until it solves the problem.

They dont know if it is from the dead rats! What they are saying is that the wheat gluten came from China where the poison is legal because they use it to kill rats there. So they don't know if that's how the poison got into the wheat, or if is from rat infestation into the wheat.
The link you provided is nothing but a sick comercial for another type of a dog food diet. You really have to realize when your being taken.

There would be more animals that died from the pet food and not mostly cats. Any cat or dog that ate any of the food would have died. Rat poison is fast acting in almost any quantity. It would take less than 24-48 hours depending on the amount ingested to kill a dog or cat.
