Absolutely not. There are only a few things people marry for, these being listed thus:
Money--the easiest way to make a fortune is to marry one. However, you may not be happy with your spouse, but you can forget all that the minute you get on ebay or go to tiffany's.
Power--so youre a bum (or bumette) on the streets. you want to be able to control the entire city so that you can help out your fellow bum. And the mayor seems interested in you. so, you marry him. and, with your loving ways, you can convince him to do your bidding.
Sex--many people just marry someone because their hot. they fight a lot, but the sex is great.
Stupidity--yes, sometimes people come under the delusion that they really are meant for each other. then they marry, and have horrible lives, constantly nagging at each other.
Friend, love is an illusion that makes sure our species reproduces. its a cynical outlook, but take it as you may.

Yes, most people do and still marry for love. At least my husband and I did. There are sometimes other reasons to marry. Sometimes a person will marry for money, sometimes a person will marry to have someone to help them raise their children, and sometimes when an older person marries it's for companionship.

Yes but it's the right decision if they share similar values. The one thing about love that people overlook is that love isn't everything. Sometimes people of different cultures and value fall in love with each other but with little expectation of ever seeing develop into anything serious. Also you might be in love with someone who doesn't share your values on children and marriage. Those are serious things to think about when being with someone and knowing whether it might work or not.

Well a coarse they do. Ain't that marriage is suppost to be, it should. People marry each other because they love each other and wanna be wiht each other forever. Say someone wants to marry someone for there money, that ain't right because they're in love with the money and not you. That ain't the right way. Love is the answer to marriage.

Among the ones that do it for money or religious reasons I imagine there are still a few that do it for love.
