Hmm....well I'm in my 40's, I have gotten to the point where every new bit of information pushes out some old bit of information, I don't have room to keep it all there any more, so I guess if you want that stuff out of there, go learn some new ideas....or relearn some that you had when you were young. Ideas about, I dunno....Santa Claus, bugs, the wonder of starlight, why marshmallows are better toasted....:)
Hm, I do have to wonder the reason of exploring religious ideas if you're trying to get rid of them. I would think being out here talking about religion would re-inforce it???? Maybe get a cat, and hang out in the pets section awhile :)
Edit: To those who are asking "why would you want to" well, everyone present here is interested in such things to some extent or another, but you know, whether it is religion, or any other other topic, one can get immersed in the study of it, and get too serious about it to a point where it has an adverse effect in your life, it could skew things out of perspective, or make your point of view lopsided to where you are somehow just not enjoying your life the way you used to. Nothing wrong with taking a break if you need one, and looking for a fresh perspective.

Just concentrate very very hard.
Then, just get on with your life enjoying the freedom.
Think about other more realistic things, like sex, rock 'n' roll, good wine, exotic cheeses, double cheeseburgers or whatever excites you in the real world.
Relax and reality will envelope you.
Stand up and shout out loud - "God is imaginary!!!"
Sleep.
Use sunscreen.
Respect all life, particularly your own, as it is the one and only life you will get.
Choose wisdom over stupidity.
Pay your bills on time.
Ask for a raise.
Apply for a better job.
Visit Paris in the springtime.
Give your carpets a helluva good vaccuuming.
Call your mother.
Take up photography and get to be good at it.
Spend a day in a natural history museum - and think with an open mind.
Buy a new pair of shoes.
Eat parsley.
Don't watch TV for a whole week - you will not miss it.
Brush three times a day.
Use a good moisturiser every night.
Get a new hairstyle.
Laugh at least once today for no reason whatsoever.
Smile at the next person you see.
Hug somebody you care for.
Be tolerant of others, especially fools.
Look both ways before crossing the road.
Sleep early, wake early, take an early morning walk.
This all means - be a realistic and happy person. Appreciate life and living. One day, it will be too late.

The complexities of philosophy and religion can be a lot to handle. Keep an open mind to all new perspectives. However, try not to obsess. View religion as a perspective, rather than a rule book. Get involved in other activities. Try not to over-analyze.

If you can't get knowledge on The Bible out of your brain, then maybe God wants it there. Why not accept what the Bible says? It's the TRUTH. Don't wait til it's too late...

Knowledge isn't a negative. Why would you want to get rid of knowledge anyway?
Unless you believe it, and it affecting your life and making you feel guilty, it's not doing harm. It only serves you to understand others who hold those beliefs.
If you are feeling guilty, then you merely need to decide FOR YOURSELF, what the truth is, and go on from there.
Knowledge never harms, it is merely how it is used that can cause problems.

As an atheist, I'll say: Don't try. As long as you compartmental-ize it so it doesn't bug you, you should be fine. The knowledge is a good tool for discussion, debate, conversion of others and picking up chicks. Use it wisely.
