1 Thes 4:15 "We tell you this directly from the Lord: We who are still living when the Lord returns will not meet him ahead of those who have died. For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a commanding shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God. First the Christians who have died will rise from their graves. Then together with them we who are still alive and remain on the earth will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. Then we will be with the Lord forever. So encourage each other with these words.

Yes, I do believe in the second coming of Jesus. I think there is more to life than having kids and going to school or work. There is a greater purpose for people to be on earth.

There has to be a second coming just not the way it is written. We read that he will be riding in a a white cloud. Yeah right. That defies all logic. Then again the cloud could be something on fire, like for example the predictions of Nostradamus on the fir balls from the east striking the twin brothers in the west. I just hope it happens soon cause this world sucks. I am ready to die or sacrifice my life for a better life for the surviving few who are supposed to remain.

Matthew 24:3: "While he was sitting upon the Mount of Olives, the disciples approached him privately, saying: “Tell us, When will these things be, and what will be the sign of your presence and of the conclusion of the system of things?”
Notice carefully that the apostles here had to ask Jesus what the SIGN of his presence would be..now reason...if we needed a sign, could that be because his presence was not visible to the human eye, as when he came to earth as a human. Remember that he ascended to heaven, his earthly role finished. He is a very powerful spirit creature now, he will not appear in human form again, that role is over. His rule is from heaven from now on, but there would be a time when his rule over the earth would begin, and he would reign from heaven over the earth...He began that rule in 1914, in the midst of his enemies...Satan is still alive and well on planet earth, and so are his demons...they have not yet been abyssed!
Revelation 12:9-12 : "So down the great dragon was hurled, the original serpent, the one called Devil and Satan, who is misleading the entire inhabited earth; he was hurled down to the earth, and his angels were hurled down with him. 10Â And I heard a loud voice in heaven say:
“Now have come to pass the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ, because the accuser of our brothers has been hurled down, who accuses them day and night before our God! 11Â And they conquered him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their witnessing, and they did not love their souls even in the face of death. 12Â On this account be glad, YOU heavens and YOU who reside in them! Woe for the earth and for the sea, because the Devil has come down to YOU, having great anger, knowing he has a short period of time.”
Back to Matthew and the sign of Jesus' presence...he gave some very good clues as to what to look for, and we can gather from all the worldwide conditions, that this sign is completely in existence now.

I believe it with my whole heart. For one, this is a very important part of a christians belief..that our Lord and Saviour is going to return to collect His followers..to stop all the wars, heartache, pain etc..to have everything begin again anew. For another..to meet my Saviour..who died so that I might have the opportunity to live..wow....even humans do not forgive each other like He forgives us. It is a wonderful hope..a reason for living..a motivation..a goal etc etc.

I believe Jesus' spirit will always be with us, but I don't believe he will come in physical form, no, because I don't believe in the resurrection.
