I enjoy going camping and outdoors, but is there any animals that can physically hurt you (besides an odd coyote) and will most run off if I scare them?

A coyote will not hurt you. Leave the snakes alone. Feral hogs can be dangerous if you walk into a sow with pigs but if you give them room they will leave. The only animal I wouldn't want to bump into in the dark is a skunk because I don't want to wear their scent. DO NOT pick up a sick bat.
Generally if you give animals of any kind room they will not harm you and in most cases if they are aware of your presence they will vacate the area. Enjoy the wildlife, dont fear it.
OF course if you want to worry you can think about: big foot, gobblins, ghouls, sasquatch, the caddo critter, the goat man and Martians to name a few.

Bats and Skunks carries rabies. probably most mammals Including dogs. Give all wild animals there own space. Spiders Snakes can cause serious harm.

It isn't the animals it is the spiders and that is a brown recluse. Also raccoons can be mean to. lol Other than that generally no.
