Don't worry I am sure everything will be fine. You're parents will be there when you go to sleep and when you wake up. You need to look at the future rather than worry about this now. Think about how much happier you will be once you are not getting sick all the time. Once this is over you will get to show everyone what a big girl/boy you are. Oh yeah the other bright side is you get to miss some school and I bet you get all kinds of get well letters, flowers and maybe even some candy!!

I have had 6 different surgeries over the years. Including two on both eyes. Went in worried and scared, woke up afterwards each time, stating "that was it?" Wow, that was nothing. The biggest one I had pain for 3 days, but back to normal less than two weeks later.
Surgery today is really very well done.
Hope this helps.
If you can, write and tell me how it went afterwards.

Hey, I had surgery when I was 7 years old, but I still remember it well. I was really nervous too, but the people at the hospital were really nice to me and I just remember it being a good experience. And right before you have surgedry done like when your on the operating table, they put a gas mask on you and you breath the stuff in and just like pass out, I dont remember any of it cause it knocked me right out and I felt no pain. You have nothing to worry about, trust me.

Hi, I had surgery on my neck last March and I was scared too, it's only natural. But you're in good hands, and everything will be okay. Keep smiling, and I'll say a Prayer for you.

I'm 13. 1 year older than you. It's easy. Forget about it. Keep yourself busy; get on the computer, arts and crafts, extra credit, & the time will come for your surgery. I know. It seems hard. But you can do it. GO GIRL! And trust the doctor...

What kind of surgery? Do you mean tonsils? I don't know what sick in your neck means.
You need to tell your parents and your doctor that you are scared. They will explain everything to you so that you won't be so afraid. Believe me, they take VERY good care of kids.

Lots and lots of people have surgery everday. The VAST majority are fine, they heal and go on living a great life. Think about the alternative? Staying sick? I don't think that sounds logical.
U'll b fine, i hope everything goes well and that you get well soon.
