im a first year student for a jr college there no dorms at my first pick i start in the fall i need to find out possibley if i can find a loan to pay for houseing aparment etc

If you got a standard student loan, you could do it. Just request the amount you need to cover tuition PLUS the amount you would need to pay rent for the semester. Then, when the money comes in, the school will give you a refund for that overpayment. You should contact the school to find out their particular process for it.

Try citibank... I have a few alternative loans through them. They confer with financial aid, make sure that you are still under the financial aid cap, and then give you the money. Do be advised that most of the time your financial aid department will usually split the money you ask for between the two semesters (if you have semesters). So, you ask for $4,000... they will most likely give you $2,000 this semester and $2,000 next semester.

I would try talking to students who go to the school and the school office people too. They can probably point you in the right direction.
