Ok there is this guy that I think likes me. The reason is because he is always nervous around me and I am not a scary chick at all. I am just his friend and I don't flirt with him. I am just really nice.
One day, he was telling me and his guy friend how it was almost impossible to get to his girlfriend. She lives 5 states away.I didn't even know he had a girlfriend.
This was the day after I caught him staring at me for a long time. After I caught him looking at me, I looked at him, and then I looked away.
He is also a really nice guy.

Well, he hasn't seen her for a while, so maybe he is interested in starting something with you. The next time you catch him staring at you, instead of turning your head away, try smiling instead, unless your not interested. You never said one way or the other how you felt about him..

Ok so I am guessing that this girl that lives 5 states away he probably met her over the internet. My advice to you is to just be this dudes friend cause it seems that even if he has a girlfriend, he's trying to hook up with you, chances are his girlfriend doesnt mean that much to him (or he doesnt know her that well).
Ask him about this chick. If he comes clean about it, and wonders why u asked him, tell him the truth. That you have noticed him staring at you, and he's always nervous around you and all that. Maybe he doesnt really have a girlfriend, he just said that to see if his friend would tell you.

Hun, the best thing you can do is ask.

Don't be afraid he is a good friend, and complaining about his gf isn't a good sign. Maybe he knows you like him, and wanted to put it out there that he has a gf?
Or maybe he does really like you.
Since you're friends, just ask. If he does something irrational and stops talking to you because of it, then he isn't a good friend to begin with.
If he doesn't the best you can do is shrug it off and say, yeah just wondering.

Maybe he does have a girlfriend or maybe he just wants to make you jealous..... at any rate...just ask him if he really has a girlfriend. Even if he does, is it that you are asking this because you like him? Good luck honey! You sound like a really sweet girl. I like that you are just really nice and don't flirt....that will get you much further than being a flirt or a tease!!!

his girlfriend lives five states away? sounds a little like someones trying to make you jealous or impressed. do you like him? if so drop hints asking if he likes you. then find out if he really has this girlfriend of his. And he could just have a staring problem while he was looking at you.

Well he obviously has feelings for u, but feels guilty because he has a girlfriend. Or he could be lying about the gf and is just trying to see how you would react to see if u like him. My answer; just be up front. U could pull him aside, call him or just write him a note.

Ask him if he is interested in you. It's the only way you are actually going to find out. It sounds like you are interested in him but if he says no you can always spin it like "oh ok good because I want to only be your friend". Can't hurt, right?

i think he is afraid of going on the relation ship while he likes you
you know he want you just to get out of his life while he like you in but he cant tell you that so he thinks that if he did that u will go
and he wont feel that he is the reason you know its just to make him self thinking imagining
