our basement is flooded and we need to get it out right away we have no hot water and we need to get it out ....any ideas ...quick ..please...

Go buy a wet/dry vac or a pump from your local hardware store.
Do you have a fish tank pump, or pool pump, or spa pump?
Otherwise, bucket brigade.
Find your water main and turn it off too then try to find the leak. If you can't fix it, call a plumber.
Better yet, just call a plumber.

Find or borrow an electric or gas pump, run the intake line in through a window to the basement floor (with a filter over the line), put the output line outside and downhill from the house, and turn it on high.

Two things, either you scoop it out with cups or something into buckets and haul it out (had to do that before), or else you have a pump of sorts that you can place a hose into the water and drain it out a window....other than that, you better check the yellow pages for a specialist, look for plumbers.

wet dry vac? or try putting a hose from the basement to outside and get your vaccuum to start the uphill flow take it off just in time before the vacuum gets wet...???
Sorry I live in Florida..I dont know anyone with a basement..
At least I tried...

then try to get a pipe and pump to pump the water out :!
