if they are true Christians, they will remain Christians.... it is not a 'religion'.. it is a relationship with Jesus Christ... who is real and the change in our lives and hearts once we accept Him is something that cannot be understood by people who do not know Him until they seek to find Him.....

I like this question inasmuch as it makes the connection between Christianity and humanism. Humanism started in the Renaissance as a recovery of the classical tradition. It was basically a Christian movement because a) it was done by Christians and b) Christians thought that such things as Greek and Roman sculpture, with their emphasis on the human figure, were prefigurements of the Incarnation. It was only when some western Europeans decided to concentrate on the external physical form without understandind the classical thought underlying these forms that 'secular humanism' started.
so I guess the answer is, humanism is the best thing we could imagine without God. If you think Christianity is the best thing we humans have, then if you take God out, you have humanism.

The ones who are sincere and thoughtful and kind will become humanists.
Sadly, the majority will have no inner strength or sense of morality to keep themselves decent. Strict law enforcement will be the only thing keeping these hateful, immoral people from becomming criminals.

It wont end it is a perpetual virus, like all religion. They dig a hole where the foot and mouth virus existed 100 years ago and it recontaminates. Adults just need an imaginary friend too. But at least kids don't kill for their imaginary friends.

taking things into the extreme, they will become murderers, rapists, thieves, etc. since there will be no more hell to pay for. why do good when you wont get "paid with heaven" when you die?
