If a woman doesn't want to get pregnant, she should use precautions and not just one ... perhaps the pill and condom together. The bottom line is that the baby grows in the mother so if 2 people don't both want a baby, they should make sure they don't have one.
Nothing will solve the abortion debate though because there will always be irresponsible people out there who don't value human life.

No, not all those who are against abortion are men. I find a lot of men are scared to be pro-life for fear of sugestions like yours.
There are many women who are pro-life.
Person below. I was simply stating that men are not the only ones against abortion and therefore the suggestion would not make the debate go away.
I am sorry that you had to make such a tough decision. Just as you are free to do and believe what you want others are free to believe and do as they want.

Hey, that sounds alot like my idea...except that I said that every time a woman had an abortion both mother and father ought to be required by law to be sterilized.
Now that I think about it, I like your idea better!!

I have no idea why this is still going on. I got pregnant BY MY FIANCE. We both decided TOGETHER that having a child would not be a good choice because we live in difference countries and we both attend college. We decided TOGETHER that I should have an abortion to save us all a lot of pain and suffering, INCLUDING the fetus. I work two jobs and I go to college full time. I don't have time for a child, and my blood pressure would put a child's life and my own life in danger.
God you people just make me sick. Leave women alone and let them make their OWN decisions about their OWN BODIES.
