I agree! What a tragedy! Although, I have heard that the chiefs in Hawaii make some wonderful dishes with the stuff; as for the regular Spam that you buy in your regular grocery store, yuck! Canned Tuna, Canned Salmon, and various others are great for making fish cakes, Cheddar cheese melts on English muffins, and so on and so forth, but Spam???!!! Even my cat's cat food smells way better- I would not even feed my cat Spam!

I happen to like Spam. Ther was a time that times were hard, all I had was Spam,some spag. sauce,(with veggies in it),and some macaroni. Honey,I put them together,and that was some of the best stuff I've ever eaten.

It's a product made with cheaper cuts of meat, spices and "fillers". I don't really care what they call it; I can make several tasty dishes with the stuff. Therefore, I call it "good". And so does my family...

SPAM is made from Ham....the actual name SPAM comes form 2 words...SPiced and hAM....first 2 letters of spiced,,,,last 2 lattes of ham,,,,so there you have it
