My puppy lucy is 6 months old and a labrador/collie cross and she has not barked once she growls, and wines but no barking whatsoever why not?

Barking is something most puppies learn later. If all else is normal, you have nothing to worry about.

My dog did not bark till like 8 months,she might be still confused where she is at and does not know what she can do around your house. Give the dog time or if the dog can't bark see a vet or something.

when I first got my dog he was my only dog and wasn't around other dogs. He was several months old before he discovered he could bark. Actually it was very funny. He was sitting in the middle of the floor and all of a sudden "woof", then "woof, woof" in between he was looking around like who made that noise. it was adorable.

Some dogs are barkers, some aren't.
Give her time, I'm sure something will spark her curiosity to bark.

It's something they learn. If she's not around other barkers she doesn't learn the "reason" to bark. It can be a good thing.

Maybe the dog lost his voice. Or something is stuck in his throat. Go to the Vets. office and talk to the doctor.

She may not realize that she *can* yet.. :D
If you are very concerned, ask your vet when she goes in for a check up but she is probably just not there yet.

If you yourself is constipated, you wouldn't be able to say anything....so look at your pup's a***, and see if it is pooping or not!!! :-)
