So me and this guy have just started to talk and I think he is super cute i've known him for a week now and we talk all the time he tells me the things he likes to do and that kind of stuff and always wants to know more about me so today when he was walking me to my locker he just says "yeah i have an archery tournament coming up" he's really good at it too. I didnt say much because my friend yelled my name and said something right when i was going to tell him that it was really cool. He did tell me where it was but then he had to go to class. So what exactly does it mean? Does he want me to go? And my other friend thinks its really cool and wanted to go watch and i was thinking of maybe surprising him by showing up and supporting him is that a good idea?

If you're interested, go for it! Supporting him would be a great idea to show him that you like him, and would be a very nice thing to do. I'd say that by giving you all of those hints he does in fact want you to go, and you already have an excuse to make it there because your friend wants to go! And if in fact he was just being friendly and acts a little weird when he sees you at the tournament, just smile and say that your friend thought it would be cool to see something like that. But I don't think he'd do that, because it sounds like he likes you! <3

I'm sure he doesn't mean anything buy it. It was more than likely as an FYI. By itself it really doesn't mean anything. Guys don't really send hidden messages like that or 'hint'. If guys 'hint' it's probably easy to decipher. Men are pretty direct when compared to women.
Now, if you like him, why not go? He'd probably think it was nice of you. He wouldn't tell you about it if he didn't want you to go.
