Rusty Wallace has a race team called Rusty Wallace Incorporated. The team fields the #66 Busch car for Rusty's son Steve. I think that if Steve progresses to the point he is ready for Cup racing, you will see a RWI Dodge running in Nextel Cup.

Let me just say first that it was a huge injustice to Rusty's great reputation in NASCAR to put such a little pipsqueak (Kurt Busch) is his #2! I was so disappointed to learn that Penske Racing cared so little about Rusty. They could have put a rookie such as Dave Ragan or someone in his car, but why did they pick the neckless wonder? Oh, am I offending the Kurt Busch fans, all 2 of them?

Now on to the question...Rusty has a Busch series team. He owns his son Steven's car as well as his brother Kenny's. There is no way to know if he ever plans to run in the Nextel Cup or not, but I think that he is happy where he is now.

He will start a new team when his son Steve reaches the Nextel Cup level. Steven Wallace will be his first driver and then expect Jamie McMurray to join when he adds a second car.

Well yes.He already has a Busch team,so it would be a logical fit to tool up a Nextel cup car.I think it is a very good possibility for him.I could see it happening to let his son attemp a few cup races.
That's all I have to say about that.

No, Rusty retires. He was working on ESPN to help his son, Steve to race here. So Steve will be 20 in August.

yes i think he will eventually start a nextel cup team.more than likely a 2 car team.one for his son and one for a veteran driver to help mentor his son.i dont look for this 2 happen in the next 2-3 years though.

Rusty won't make a move until Roger Penske tells him to. Rusty is a phony and his lips move only when Penske has his hand up Rusty's a$s.
