She's a female Golden Retriever, more cream colored than gold at this point. She will be a working dog, so I need a name that I can call out a lot without sounding silly. I have a few on my working list, but would be willing to entertain other ideas, so let me know if you like one of these, or if you have a better idea.

OK, let me expand a bit... I'm looking for something short and out of the ordinary. I have already spent hours on naming websites, so please don't send me links to those.
I'm really just getting tired of calling her "puppy" and don't want her to get the idea that's her name.

Oh yeah... and I don't want to use a common people name. Some people don't like it when they're showing off thier child and they're told "Oh, yeah - that's my dog's name"

First of all, I wouldn't rush into a name. I have found that probably soon she will do something that will help you come up with the perfect name. Don't think so hard about it and the perfect name will probably just pop up. My dogs names are Aggie, Bailey, Mouse, Dixie and Ellie. Also, one to two syllable names are best and easier to use. Good luck, I'm sure you will find the right one. I do like the name Echo.

I think you should do some human names (like Elizabeth, Kaitlyn, Olivia, Maria, Sabrina, and Tasha, stuff like that.) I love those names!!! Anyway, that's just my opinion. HAve fun naming your doggie!
