First of all make sure you trim your hair regularly , this keeps the dead ends off and that is one thing that really makes your hair look and feel awful....if you've done that and still have a problem....use a hot oil treatment or...an inexpensive alternative is to put mayonaise in your hair and leave it in for about 30 mins and wash until clean....my best friend who has beautiful hair by the way sware's by this.....i've tried it before and it does make your hair look healthier and more radiant...but I hate mayo and can't stand the smell that long...good luck!!

There are reasons besides your shampoo why your hair could be dry. Are you eating enough nutritious food? Strict diets that eliminate food groups can have nasty consequences to your hair, skin, breath, etc. Another culprit would be lots of time in the sun or a chlorinated pool.

If not, I would suggest using Pantene's new Restoratives deep conditioning treatment weekly in addition to conditioning your hair EVERY time you shampoo. You can also use a spray on conditioner to add moisture when you get out of the shower. I've had the best luck with Pantene products. If that doesn't help, I'd get as much of a trim from your stylist as you can stand and start over. Good luck!

The L'oreal Kerastase Nutrive range will work wonders on your hair.

There is a whole range including shampoos, conditioners, masks, treatments etc.

I'd recommend getting a treatment - "Aqua Oleum" is just the best. After shampooing and towel drying your hair, spray the product onto your hair (avoiding the roots), wrap your whole head on cling film (to keep the heat in), wait around 20 minutes then rinse away with tepid water.
The result = beautifully soft, smooth, silky hair!!!!!!!!!!

You can buy these treatments from salons, or better still, get it done at a salon for an even better result. You'll sit under the hair steamer.

Hi,
I hope this helps!

I once had dry hair and i went to a supermarket (any supermarket will do) and i brought ICE SHINE! It makes your hair nice and smooth, shiny and it will not go dry if you keep on using it! I used it every other day and done two washed and to make sure its all out you have to rub your hair and make sure its squeaky(that's a sign the shampoo is all out)! Plus DON'T use conditioner!!!!!
I hope this helped xx

Use coconut oil. I have very naturally dry, coarse hair and I use it on my hair once to twice a week as a deep conditioning treatment. At night, on dry hair, I saturate my hair with the stuff. Then I sleep in it, either using a shower cap or a towel on my pillow. Then in the morning I shampoo and condition my hair in the shower as normal and my hair feels more moisturized and much softer afterwards.

you need to use a hair moisturiser. Lush do a fantastic one called 'hsuan wen hua' apply it to dry hair and leave it on for as long as you can. then all you have to do is shampoo out and condition as normal. It's made with all natural products and it has saved my hair, even my hairdresser commented it felt and looked better than usual. One pot should be enough for you to get 3-4 uses out of. Good luck.

Do you have hard water at home????
You may try putting just a little vinegar in a spray bottle and add water to it and then spray on after the wash, if you have lots of calcium and magnesium in the water that can help rinse it off...or try rinsing with a bottle of distilled from the drugstore.
Also, mane and tail for horses (and people) works pretty well.
You might try a "leave in" conditioner on really dry days.
