Striped wallpaper ? vertical or horizontal in a small bedroom ? Any ispirational thoughts or ideas ??

Vertical make rooms look taller, Horizontal shorter, great in old Victorian houses! I prefer Vertical but I'd never use too contrasting a stripe in a small room e.g Red/White but light coloured mixed shades e.g pale lilac/slightly darker lilac can look great!
A quick way to see which you prefer is to draw 3 room shapes and colour with stripes on 2 and a plain colour on the last! It won't be perfect but should give you an idea what a finished room would look like!

Horizontal may well be maximum unique, fairly in the event that they cover the excellent wall from ideal to backside. follow vertical in case you insist of having stripes, yet i assumed stripes have been out-of-vogue on the 2nd.

If you must put striped wallpaper up, the vertical stripes is a more traditional approach, but it's up to you!

Small room-No stripes. Plain light painted walls.

If the stripes are wide and i mean wide go diagonal. if they're small don't even bother just go ahead and paint, just use different colors like for the window trims and the moldings and so forth. so one color for the walls and a different one for the trimming.

horizontal stripes would probably make it bigger along with good lighting and a big mirror, if not horizontal strripes i advise lighter colours have fun x x

horizontal gives the illusion its wider vertical gives the illusion its taller n smaller so horizontal for a tiny room xx
