I grew up in the south and peppermint grew wild in the yard, we would pick , wash and chop it up and put it in our suntea. You can go to any supermarket and look in their fresh herb aisle and buy a bunch of fresh mint (usually no more than a dollar or two...enjoy!)

you can grow mint but i'm not sure if the tea will come out right.. but you might want to try boiling the mint in water, then add some sugar if youd like, last let the water cool. good luck!

Yes you can, and I do.
I have both peppermint AND spearmint growing, but on opposite ends of my property (otherwise, they'll cross polinate and I'd have "speppermint" or "pepspearint" or something).....I cut a branch or two, pick off the leaves, boil up the water and throw 'em in there....MMMMmmmm Minty!

Yes, but be careful because mint and it's relative, catnip, grow like wildfire and can overcome your whole garden, and then some! It's almost like a weed.

No, BUT...you can grow the mint and flavor your tea with it and get the same effect.

Sure! I grew up with mint growing along side of my house. We used it for that & my papaw used to chew on it to freshen his breath.
