it depends on what church you go to, those church's that go to and fro with every fad and fashion can't really claim to be in the spirit of the Biblical church, however there are churches out there that keep the same emphasis on doctrine and salvation.

No, i don't think its the same. The people in ancient times needed the church more. It was a new philosophy of love and peace... a new thing at the time that contrasted against the cruelty of the Romans.

Today I think its more of a business. Look at all the child molestors in the Catholic church and all the sexual purverts and embezzelers passing themselves off as ministers in the other religions. Would you like me to name them? Anyway, you worship God the way you think he wants you to, obey the 10 commandments and don't worry about anythng else.

This is another question where non-believers and cultist say no and Christians say yes.. What do you hope to find out? We have the same lord, the same scripture teachings (OK theirs were brand new from the Apostles themselves but we have their recorded message and it's the same then as now)... Why would the Church be different.? Jim

Don't know about all, but I have visited a few 'modern; Churches recently and they have had very little to do with spreading the Gospel. Seemed more like social clubs to me.

The True Chrurch of God is the same. The problem that I see today, is that we here in America are spoiled. We have been blessed so much that we forgot about God.

Our churches are dead. There is not enough faith in them to heal the sick or cast out demons.

God remains the same, yesterday, today, and tomorrow.

If his spirit remains with us, it's all that matters.

God is forever, so there's no doubt that he's alive. If he wasn't, we wouldn't be, either.
