hi yall i got glasses and i am not old enough to get contacts. i've got ma eyes on this cute guy. i dont like him just cause his looks hes sweet, nice, and shy. he makes fun of my glasses so what do i do

if he makes fun of you, move on to a nicer guy...and also, my daughter had contacts at age 12.....maybe your old enough to look into them

how old are you? I recently asked my sons eye doctor ( he is 10) what age kids can start wearing contacts and she said she had 6 yr olds in contacts. you type and spell pretty good so I am assuming you are older than 6. why can't you get them. 6 appears to be old enough. you could tell the little fella that you got glasses so you could see him better, if he is that shy, that's one way to get him to give you mercy. don't worry so much about the glasses, if you get the right frames you can look really cute in them. next time you go to get glasses, take a boy that's your age with you as you try them on , ask which pair he likes the best. he will know what you look good in. what is pleasing to his eyes.

He probably secretly loves your glasses! I'm sure he is just teasing you as a way of flirting with you!
But if he is saying mean things that are actually hurting your feelings (which I doubt he is doing, since you think he's sweet and nice), then DO NOT change the way you look for this guy.
I don't think he is hurting your feelings, so my guess is, he likes your glasses, and is using them as a way of flirting with you.

What kind of glasses are they?? If they are freaking' huge with big round lenses then thats understandable. You want the smaller ones. Just ask people on Yahoo! in the fashion section what you should get.

When a guy makes fun of you, it could be for many reasons including liking you alot.
I'd say walk tall, wear you glasses proudly and tease him back.

erm well he seems like a jerk. glasses are not all that bad. i mean like i have prada glasses. and when i wear them, i look pretty damn smart. only if you have geeky harry potter-ish glasses then its something to make fun of:)
and what kind of sweet nice shy boy makes fun of a girls glasses? thats something i wanna know..

If he doesn't like you because of your glasses then his not a good guy at all. & in that case you shouldn't even bother with him! A good guy would like you for you not for how they want you to be.....Screw him! You can find so much better sweet heart! Some one who likes you for YOU! Ok, just give it time

Does he make fun of you in a nice and funny way? Another words is he making you laugh? It might just be his way of flirting. But if he is saying it in a mean way that hurts your feelings, then you need to forget him. He wouldn't be worth the time anyways. Good Luck!

If he is making fun of your glasses, he is making fun of you. Personally, I do not believe he is worth your time. A real man would easily overlook your glasses.

someone who makes fun of you is not nice and especially because of ur glasses the personality is the one that counts i think u should forget about him and glasses look cool
