You usually can copy/paste from Reader into Word and keep a reasonable amount of formatting. There are a few products on the market that will copy/paste the data for you, but they are somewhat expensive. I use ScanSoft PDF Professional 4 at work and it does a pretty good job.

No problem. As of this writing, 3/23/07, there is a free, online conversion program. I have used it. It is easy and did a good job. You can convert your pdf to Word. Proofread when finished - just in case.

There should be a clickable button that looks something like an "I", and when you click that, you should be able to select, copy/paste text. You can just use Microsoft Word after that to create a .doc file.

And, of course there's also this website:
http://www.openoffice.org

If you don't have Microsoft Word.

If you dont have MS Word, go to http://www.openoffice.org and get a free alternative.

You should be able to copy/paste. THEN apply the formatting in word/writer.
