The taint was only in the wheat gluten manufactured in China. That product isn't in the dry food.
If you are worried though, take your dog and a food sample to a vet

Let me undstand you correctly first. You dog is eating Nutro dry food and has been for a year. You dog has been sick since you began feeding her this food and it been a year and she is still on the food.
I'm sorry but if your dog is not agreeing with the food why have you continued to feed her this food for a year?????? Also in a years time why haven't you asked your vet about this??? Your dogs illness has nothing to do with the food it's your ignorance that is making your dog ill.

My family currently has 2 dogs on Nutro food. They are fine for now but then again we only use the dry food. So no they arent sick but we are watching them very closely.

There is currently a huge investigation into the Commercial Dog Food Industry. The individual listed below lost his dog because of Commercial Dog Food and is currently sharing his story and findings to help other dog owners understand just what is in commercial dog food and how it kills thousands of dog each year. This may be helpful in your quest and understanding. It has been for me!

No! I have been feeding my Yorkie Nutro since I got him. No sick at all. He's never so much as had diarrhoea. Perhaps he got into something?

Check out this site. They have links to quite a few questions people are asking about pet food overall and the way things have been handled with this recall.
