I just got my golden retriever one today. I am thinking that I finally found a good toy that she can't ruin. So I am wondering what other people's experiences with this toy have been. My dog really really likes it.

Hi yes my Golden's had one too. Until they destroyed it, it last about 6 months here.
If your looking for some really good toys that are just about indestructible look at PlanetDog. com.
Their toys are rated by a chew-o-meter. #5 being the toughest! My Golden's love their toys!!!! They actually still have them after 2 years!

My family doesnt use that type of toy. However if your dog is able to ruin that toy I would suggest a Kong toy of some sort. Yes they are expensive but they are very hard to wreck. One of your dogs would go through a tennis ball or 2 a day just playing fetch and this Kong ball has lasted months and is still in great condition.

My friend's Golden Retreiver has had about 3 of these, but never because he destroyed it, only because he lost them. They are supposed to be indestructible, and if your dog does destroy it, you can send the destroyed ball in to them for a free replacement...

I got my dogs the other one like it, with the wider holes and put a little toy inside. They love it.

My dog doesn't go for toys like that. He prefers the soft faceless teddy bears that squeak.
