Rain is not a bad thing, it gives life to the living things.
You have the option to find shelter and let the rain pass, which is what always happens if you give it time. Remember that there are sunnier days on the horizon, but also realise rain will come again.
Its only the lightning strikes you have to be worried about.

It always rains on me too but it's only water and I can always find a towel!
Seriously, you need to be more positive in your attitudes.
Remember too you can't have a rainbow if you don't have the rain!
