I know this isn't an orthodox question, but I beg you to bear with me and help our family.

My grandfather's dog might possibly have bone cancer, and we need all the prayers we can get for her recovery. This dog is very important. She's a retired service dog who belonged to my grandmother after she was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease. After my grandmother died, Star became one of the most important beings in my grandfather's life, and if she were to go now, he'd just be crushed.

I know there are many of you out there who consider your dogs a family member and would hate to see your dog in a horrible situation like this. I'm asking all of you from the bottom of my heart to send up a small prayer for the recovery of our dog. You have no idea how much of a positive impacked you will have just by doing this!

Thank you so much for your help!

Best to prepare fully for the inevitable, how about another dog/puppy ? Introduce the new pet early to soften the eventual reality. You have my best thoughts.

You have it all so worked out.

Don't you think you are telling God what to do ?

Do you think that you are more concerned than God Himself and that He doesn't know what to do for the best ?

Since all true prayer initiates from Him wouldn't you do better to cease from your own thoughts and to seek Him for what He is doing ?

some people think it is stupid to pray for animals. God created them all just like he created us. But we humans are to be "superior" over the animals. After all Adam gave them their names. But, to me and I' m sorry I am really not a animal person, if that dog means that much to your grandfather I will ask God to heal that dog for him .

Erm, it's a dog!
As sorry as I am for your dog, I'll give you one prayer for every five you send to my friend who just had a stroke at 25!
That's life my friend!!
