Yes...they discover it quickly and it just as quickly becomes their prize possession.

I have 3 brothers one is 8 still does it my mom constantly says boy get your hand out your pants. A 5 year old and he does it only in the tub. And a 2 year old who does it more than the other two do. Its completly normal he most likely wont grow out of it thats going to become his best friend. From babies to grown men they all do it and the men that dnt do it them selves
have women there to do it for them. Just teach your son now maybe softly popping his hand every time he touches it or something yes its normal but that doesnt mean that he shouldnt know when to do that so hell be tamed and when he gets older he wont be like those nasty men that ALWAYS needs to be touched that makes me sick!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

ti be honest with you it is normal because when boys are babies or an infant most of the time they do play with there ding a ling. Because they are still little and down there seems pretty intersting because they have never seen it before...I no these things because i am veyr good with babies and infants...but dont worry they will get out of that stage its just a little habit that they have

Yes its normal. All kids do it even when they are a year old or sometimes even younger! They are just discovering new things on there body everyday and thats just one of them. I dont have any kids but 4 younger brothers that went through the same thing so I know about anything.

Sweetie, he'll be doing this for the next eighty years probably, the only difference is that they learn to do it in private as they get older ;-)
Rotfl....seriously, it does feel good, not in a sexual way to him, that doesn't start until the hormones hit in puberty, but similar to gently patting hair, or rubbing the forehead when you put them to sleep.

My son who is 10 months found that thing about 3 months ago. It's so annoying when that's all he does when i'm trying to bathe him or change him. I have no idea how to stop him.
I guess it's amusing!

Yeah, it's pretty normal. My 11 month old is constantly playing with his penis when he's bathing or being changed. He's just exploring his body.

I'd have to agree with about everyone here- it's normal. LIke someone else said, if you see it, don't make any kind of big deal about it. Or even act like you didn't see. Just add "no comment". This will stop soon.
