I decided to take her for a walk. I usually only walk her in the evening. So I put on my coat and put my cell phone and keys in my pockets. I already had a poo bag in my pocket. She got all excited as if she knew my intention even though I didn't say anything to her about it.

If you went through pretty much the same routine that you go through when you walk her at the usual time, she probably picked up on the routine. Even if it's a different time, when I start to collect my keys and cell phone, by the time I'm getting the leash out, my dog is jumping up and down, excited to be going out. Somehow she's got the majority of the routine down so well she knows what we're going to do, no matter what time it is.

Nope, I just tested your theory. I looked my dog square in the eye and thought "i'm gonna kick yu in the nuts" he didn't budge and I gave him a swift right in the rocket.
then, I even gave him the verbal warning "dojo, I'm gonna kick you in the nuts" he turned his head sideways and gave what appeared to be a smile.
The short answer, you are mildly retarded to believbe your simple dog can't do math, yet he can read your mind.

dogs pick up in sign, more then verbal commands, because really, you're dog can't understand a thing you're saying, it's how you say or do something that tells the dog whats going on

people suck, don't listen to the first 2 people who answered. obviously they're not true doggie lovers :o). dogs are SO intuitive, they really really are.. if i put on my shoes, my dog knows i'm going out.. ANY shoe. if i put on slippers, she knows i'm staying home. they're quite smart also. i'm sure she picked up on it, maybe even realized from the poo bag's nylon-y crinkle.. who knows :o)
