i heard that if you work out with dumbells at a young age you can stop growing. is it true?? i am 14 years old. if that is true, when can i start working out??

yes i believe its true... happened to many guys i know including my brother. start doing stuff like pushups, situps, and even competitive swimming

no that is not true at all. I definetly worked out when i was younger than u! Don't listen to any1 who says that!

you can still work out, but your are too young to lift heavy weights. your body is still developing, wait till you are 18.

No,I've never heard of that.All my guy friends do it and nothing happens to that.
