my mom just took her 4 week old kitten to the vet an hour ago because he has been breathing hard and 3 different vets came in at 3 different times and gave him 6 different medicines without telling each other what they gave the kitten and 30 min. he had a seizure-like thing from these meds: penisilan, amoxicilin, b-12, anti hestimean, vetalog ,azium)
and he died. can anyone tell me if these meds all at once can kill a 4 week old, 1 pound kitten?PLEASE HELP ME!

Phoebhart, how do you know it was the medicines that caused the seizure, what are you basing your answer on? fair enough if that is just your opinion but unless you know 100% for sure then don't go round telling people to sue what may be a perfectly good vet for trying to save a cats life.

With regards to the original question, are you 100% sure that the vets didn't tell each other what medication they had given your cat? Maybe you could visit another vet or get in contact with a vets regulation board and explain what happened, they would probably be able to give you more information and give you advice if your vets DID act negligently about what to do.

No, but breathing difficulties surely could. There are a number of things that could have caused that, any of which could be deadly to a young kitten. Seizures are not a side effect of any of those meds, and all were appropriate to give a cat in respiratory distress.

OF COURSE!!! That was GROSS negligence on the part of those vets! You should sue!
