ok. I like this guy at my school but he likes this other girl who's flirty and stuff. can i compete with that. i'm more modest then she is.

DO NOT GIVE UP WHO YOU ARE . Its the one thing in life nobody can take away with out your ok.. You may not be a big hit with this "guy" but if he cant like you for who you are , you dont need him in your life. I know people still in school have a need to be liked . Trust me Im a country boy and was raised by a Baptist mother . I didnt even get to go to a game at school or a dance . POOF . I made it to be 53 met a great woman and our views and likes are very close and has made the wate worth it . (I still had fun growing up) Made some great friends along the way.

If his values are in the flirty slutty types, then is that something you really want to compete against? And do you really want a man who only values you for the attention you give him, or a man that values you for what you are without him?
I'm willing to bet that there is another modest boy who likes you that you havent discovered yet because he is trying to figure out how to compete with the womanizing jerk that gets all the slutty girls attention.

I like modest girls who are cute and nice but some men like flirty girls but of course the other girl is gonna win but u can be nice to him and talk thats what u should do

All guys LOVE confident girls. It is a really big turn on to them. Step up to the plate...show him what you got! You said that you're more modest than she is...does he know that? SHOW HIM!! He'll never know if you don't. The reason why he really likes that girl is that she has confidence. She has enough confidence to flirt guys and stuff which turns him on as a guy. SO, show off your confidence like speak up in class or when someone is too afraid to do something, don't hesitate to be the first one to step up, especially if he's around when it happens...You'll have him then! I say just be yourself, you have a look of good qualities that this other girl. You shouldnt change yourself for this guy because we want him.
He will notice you when he roles over with his crush on you. and then you can make your move on him.
