Generally, a Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses is built without windows only in areas which tend toward hate crimes and vandalism against houses of worship. Sadly, it seems that the questioner must be from an area with a reputation for bigotry and lawlessness.

Jehovah's Witnesses are proven to be true Christians based upon the Witnesses' preaching work and the anti-Witnesses' bigoted hatred against them.

(2 Timothy 4:3-5) For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching, but, in accord with their own desires, they will accumulate teachers for themselves to have their ears tickled; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, whereas they will be turned aside to false stories. You, though, keep your senses in all things, suffer evil, do the work of an evangelizer, fully accomplish your ministry.

Quite a few (but not all) Kingdom halls are called "Quick Builds."

That means a huge amount of volunteer’s show up over a 4-day weekend and build an entire kingdom hall (Church). All the supplies, tools, food for the volunteers have to be on site prior to the 4 day quick build.

Years ago they did quick builds in 2-3 days but it became a safety hazard.

If there is a way to shave off time and cost then the JWs do it so it is completed in the 4 days. So windows are removed.

Maybe the only religious significance is that JWs will not have iconic images anywhere where Churches will have stain glass of peoples who they worship. It really has no religious philosophy behind it, it’s just to save money cause all the money comes from the attendees.

Why spend a bunch of money on one church with a lot of upkeep when you can build two? Or put the money towards other volunteer projects?

No, no longer all Kingdom Halls are windowless. thank you for Asking, courteously, instead of angrily making up a reason, as has been achieved on right here in the previous. i'm a Christian, considered one of Jehovah's Witnesses. some Halls have residing house windows, some do no longer. that's extra value-effective to construct with out residing house windows. additionally, it may regularly be a secure practices concern, as to how the corridor is built. One corridor I attended grew to become into brick with out residing house windows, and while we've been long previous we had to fasten Iron Gates over the steel doorways. It grew to become right into a foul community. We even had a brick cage around our AC unit, because of fact of all of the thefts.

After seeing this question at least 25 times I began to take note of religious buildings. Most churches in the area where I live have no windows. The Kingdom Hall I now attend has no windows. The one I attended while growing up did have windows. Windows, no windows is an irrelevant question. What is taught inside the building is relevant.

This is a bogus question, since some Kingdom Halls do have windows, and some don't. What exactly is the purpose of your question? If you are curious as to what goes on inside and you can't peek through a window to find out, why don't you just walk right in the front door and have yourself a seat and find out first hand. The public is always welcomed and encouraged to visit!

This is the strangest question asked I feel.
I am one of Jehovahs Witnesses and I can guarantee you we have plenty of windows at the kingdom hall I attend.
Maybe there is the odd building that doesnt.Maybe it was cheaper to construct it that way.I might add that we build all our kingdom halls ourselves ie witness brothers who have building etc trades. And the work is funded on our own donations.
So if a Kingdom hall doesnt have as many windows as you would like to have,so be it!

My Kingdom Hall has window too. And don't call it a church. It is a Kingdom Hall. That is the most unintelligent question I have ever seen on here and there have been some bad questions asked. SO with that being said here is your answer: There are not a lot of window because they are constructed very quickly and cost effective. Windows are very expensive. The builds are usually financed by donations from the congregation and so they will put the money to the best use.

Several Kingdom Halls DO have windows. Some don't for a variety of reasons. 1 reason is the neighborhood the Hall is in. The Kingdom Hall I went to around 13 years ago was in a neighborhood that wasn't exactly dangerous, however we had to enclose our heating and air unit in a Brick Cage to keep people from stealing it.

Many Kingdom Halls do have windows. If they don't have windows, besides whats already been mentioned, it cuts down on distractions if the Hall is in a noisy neighborhood.

Someone just sent me an email on several new Kingdom Halls built in Africa. They all of windows since they don't have air conditioning.

Everyone is welcome to come and visit and see that we don't do anything weird. No candles, no chanting, no speaking in tongues, no concerts, no collection plates....just families together studying the bible.

The Kingdom Hall you are looking at was likely built in the 50s or 60s. The Jehovah's Witnesses were not well liked, especially in the USA.
People threw Rocks through the windows of their Kingdom Halls(IF they were lucky, Molotov Cocktails if they were not lucky)
