Untill new Explores 7 came, tags were the biggest advantage. Now I'm mostly using it because it's faster. If you have a state of the art computer, you probably won't notice the difference, but on the older, slower computers ( like mine), that might gonna be a huge advantage. The pop up blocking is better ( with the explorer every now or then some pop-up sneaks in besides 3 protections that i had, with Firefox not even single one unwanted)
Only disadvantage that i noticed by now is the fact that some web sites are not quite compatible with Firefox. than you can get 2 texts overlapping, but those sites are rare.

I do use Firefox on my ancient Mac and I have to say I prefer it to Explorer. One of my major problems with Explorer is that it often quits in the middle of doing something. I have dsl and this should rarely happen. It never does on Firefox. I find it a bit faster too, and it seems more compatible with many of my often used websites (particularly the financial ones). Explorer just seems a little behind in keeping up with the technology than Firefox. Hey ..it's free, give it a roll!

Firefox is THE way to go. Everything loads faster, you don't flog your processor and memory so bad- important especially for a laptop user like me, and you have far less problems with malware. I've had problems getting recognized on one corporate virtual private network so that I had to use IE. My spyware cleanup after that single usage was about 3x as long as my monthly (or so) scrub when using Firefox.

somewhat? its working like a charm for me, i even "hacked" firefox 2 to velocity up 10x, and with firefox 3, i didnt even prepare the hack, and its way swifter than firefox 2. in basic terms a be conscious, firefox 3 makes use of 100megs of memory, 2x than in firefox 2. verify in case you have adequate available memory, becuase digital memory heavily isn't hassle-free stress area, that's plenty slower. i dont care if firefox makes use of that plenty memory, becuase its applying it ALOT extra effectively than information superhighway explorer.... IE used like 80megs and its like 10 situations slower even when I certainly have extra available memory. firefox 3 is nearly a velocity demon !!!!

I use Mozilla Firefox at home and it works fine for me. No annoying pop-ups. I've heard bad and good things about it, but I never have issues with it. I only seem to have issues with my computer itself.
