Get a life, indeed. Level 7. They must eat, drink and screw in front of this thing.

Your dead right Phil. I only answer those questions where I've got a bit of knowledge or experience and can possibly help the asker a bit. It's not just a case of racking up the points to climb the ladder just by giving one word silly answers. Mind you some of the questions are a bit silly too. I find that when answering something I know a bit about that I get carried away and end writing a full length novel but it seems that the more info you give, providing it is reasonably correct , the better the asker likes it. I have clocked up a few best answers this way. The way to go is to noy answer too many questions but those you do, give it a bit of quality. Do you agree?.

First, let me respond to your concern about replies that are, as you identified, from idiots and their responses are as if they are personally being asked the question. It is ok in life to give yourself some self recognition, even if the "No Life" condition appears and by adding the personal response like these support the illusion that even though they have no one to talk to, it is good to bolster their feeling of self worth or belonging. The answer is of little importance to them as it is the participation in the forum that is good for them. There is no problem in this type of use as a forum is not focused only on people with questions and accurate or applicable answers. Open your mind some and think about the possibilities of a community forum other than just a place to find answers to questions or situations of life. The point is that it is "public" and may be used by everyone regardless of their need. Gee, it even allowed you to bag on the people using it and I took the time out of my day to respond to your narrowmindedness and tunnel vision approach to participate and downgrade participants. If you will allow yourself to see positive things and benefit of everything to include benefits that are received in addition to its original design would only support the program and increase its value. Instead of being down on people you might try to respond intelligently to some of the questions as there are some people in this forum that are in real life situations and a different opinion or facts that are the experience of others will prove to be supportive or shed light on remedy of a problem or defense of unfairness. Try being part of the solution and stop contributing to the problem. It only circumvents the goals that the makers of the forum intend.

There, how did I do. Is that the best answer? If not I hope I was able to give you some insight to your immature nature probable need for this forum at some point in time when you arrive at a decision that you have no knowledge or experience and if you do not like the answers that you believe are idiots, then simply click over them.

Not all level 7's have got to that point [excuse the pun] just by answering questions with a "dunno, thanks for the 2 points" answer.....

There are many ways of reaching level 7 you know....& they don't involve any more than about one hour at your computer a day......God! they'd be here forever if they relied on answering questions alone to climb the levels......

At the end of the day it's just silly games with silly points.....are you not getting yourself just as wound up over a few points too? I think at times some really stupid questions are posted & it's so tempting to give an equally stupid answer when it's late & tiredness starts creeping in.....but for the most I try to give answers that help.....

People do that just for the points of answering a question most likely. Some people spend way to much time sitting in front of the computer, I can at least say though I may be on one, I do take the time to read a book!

I wanna be a level 7. Some say they want fame, fortune, happiness and a life.... but I would give it all up for the notriety of being a level 7.

Just can't spare the 23 hours a day to sit in front of this thing and research questions, think of funny answers, say yes/no/dunno or give random answers.

Please.... save me from answering another 5 questions and give ME the 10 points. I promise to go into therapy soon.

Hi, yeah, I get so annoyed when I post a question & get "err, dunno hun, but thanks for the 2 points," or "dunno, but your 2 points just got me to level...." I fele like asking Yahoo h q if I can take points off of people for stupidity.

So, no, your not alone in feeling like this, if I could I'd refuse to take the 2 points just to prove I'm not like them.

Perhaps they do it just to increase the points they earn.
Bit pointless, but points are all they have to gain.
