They don't, that is just an assumption that they believe to be a truth because they desire, girls think they are so damn easy at reading things...... just ask the guy then they will know

they either dont really know and are just saying that to make it sound obvious or
they have other sources that you like them or
you drop way too many big hints that you like her

the guy does thingss like IM here comment (myspace) talk to her alot, try to be with her when hanging out with friends its really obvious even if he doesnt do thoses things, like the way he lookss at her or talks too her

She knows by how different he acts and if his face is pink or not.
If it is normal.he dosn't like her.If it is pink then he likes her.(not after extercising though)And females know by the way he acts infront of them.I am a female...so i know.
