It's easier to fall in love when you're not looking for it.

I unexpectedly fell in love with a guy I had been friends with for 6 years. One day I just saw him in a whole new light. Didn't expect it at all. But, I don't think the fact it happened "suddenly" means its any less likely to last etc.
& no, I wasn't looking for love.
I found it when I least expected it.

unexpectedly meaning you aren't prepared and doesn't refer to the quality of love you fall as infatuation or love though. if you're glad, have fun and enjoy!

Sometimes that's the best. I've been talking to this guy online for almost a year and we started out just talking casually, but now I think we really like each other. And definitely didn't see that coming.

It's always infatuation whether you see it or not. Love can only be truly recognized later...about 12-18 months later. Till then it's just hormones and lust.

In your situation, only time will tell. For now, just enjoy the feeling and see where the relationship goes. Get to know this person as a friend and this will help you to know if he/she is the one for you. Good luck.
