I find that anyone ask a stupid question like this is either bored on a Friday night and wants E-mails. Or just plan stupid. Because of people like you is why I don't sale puppies at Christmas time. Well your dog survive the wild???? I think he will have a better chance than staying with you. Maybe some one will take him in and give the dog a good home. How people can be so cruel I never know.. Even though this might have been pull out of the hat question that fact you ask it worries me what is in your head.

Please do not let your puppy out in the wild. Take it to a pound or a humane society in order to let someone else have the chance to love it and give it a home. If you let a domesticated animal out into the wild, it runs a high risk of getting sick and/or malnurished as it won't know how to feed itself. It also runs a risk of being injured by wild animals or vehicles. I would also suggest maybe holding off on getting your daughter another pet until she is old enough to understand that pets are a long term commitment and need constant care and attention.

If you get tired of your daughter, you going to put her out in the wild??? Pets don't deserve owners like you! Have you thought of taking the puppy to the Humane Society or the SSPCA where someone can give it a GOOD home?? Or putting a free ad in the paper?? YOU have a better chance out in the wild than a helpless puppy.

No, usually puppies are not raised to live in the wild, dah!
How can a person even think about putting a puppy in the wild it will not know how to survive. It will be hunted by other wild animals.

I'm sure you meant this question as a joke, a bad one at that. Here in Mexico we have many puppies let out in the wild, they wander down from the highway looking for food. I have three year old dogs right now, puppies abandoned, we feed and water them and they are good watch dogs. Don't abandon a puppy, not every family is so agreeable.

You should have thought of that before you bought the puppy, but now it is your responsibility. Keep the puppy until she's a little older, meanwhile the puppy is your responsibility. You can go to prison if you set it in the wild.
At least give it to the pound, where others can enjoy it's lively happiness.

That is sick! You get a dog, and after four months want to give it away! No, it would not survive in the wild, take it to your local humane society and I hope you NEVER get another animal! Your daughter either! A dog is not a toy, it is a serious comittment, and a lifelong friend!

even though ur daughter is tired of the puppy its not its fault! if u must get rid of it try to find somebody that wants it or drop it off at a animal shelter (giving it to a person will be better because animal shelters will usually put an animal to sleep if its not adopted in a week or so)

Will you survive in the wild, will your daughter? No of course not. If you don't want the dog, take it to the shelter anything else is just cruel.

That is a horrible thing to say...I am sorry but put an add in the paper or take it to a humane society. You should have thought harder about the puppy before you gave it to her as a gift. Shame on you for even thinking about that.
