Kimmy,

This is truly a tough question that only you can answer. I can give you a tip from my life though. I was in a similar situation about the time I was 18. I was still living at home with the rents but need to get away. I was deeply devoted to my girlfriend, who is still my girlfriend today. Anyway, an opportunity came along to see the world. The opportunity was to move to Australia and study for several months. I need to do this for a couple reasons. 1. I wanted to see the world. 2. I need to get away from my parents. This left me with a tough decision. In the end I had to go with my what I knew would be best for my sanity and future. I told my g/f that I was going to Australia and there was nothing she could do.

You've been practicing your whole life for this and if you are truly in love your boyfriend will respect that and you will find a way to make it work.

Love comes and goes but your dreams never die. Follow your dreams and your heart will follow. :-) Cheesy

If he REALLY loves you he will understand your passion for gymnastics and support you in being the best you can be. He won't make you choose.

Keep this in mind when he wants to do something he really likes.

Stay with your gymnastics. I your love really loves you, he won't mind you leaving for a while. Actually, he should be encouraging you to go. If he doesn't want you to go, then he doesn't really love you.
