Is there truly any evidence that artificial sweetners and chemicals (i.e. Aspartame) actually cause cancer?
I use a lot of sweetners, like sweet n low, and drink a lot of diet sodas. Am I putting myself at risk?

Any oppinions are appreciated! Thanks!

There's a recent very-well documented study (published 2006 in Annals of the New York Academy of Sciences) that says that yes, aspartame is carcinogenic, at least in rats. The increased in incidence was higher in females.

I'd say cut down on the diet sodas and drink plain water instead. Anyway another bad effect of aspartame is that it seem to increase sugar cravings, so in fact it is not helping very much people who want to lose weight or are being careful about their weight.

One of the things I have found out from experience is that once you cut back from sweets and eat healthy things instead, your cravings, as well as headaches and drops of energy, tend to mostly disappear.

While I do feel the jury's still out on whether aspartame may cause cancer, I think it is still bad for you. When I was younger, I drank my first drink with aspartame. It was a Crystal Lights drink & I got a sickening migraine after drinking it. And I remember it being a different kind of headace than I'd experienced before. I never thought much more of it till I read reports of others having migraines & bad headaches from consuming too much aspartame. There was even an article suggesting that consuming too much aspartame over a long period could lead to brain tumors, but more studies are needed on this.

Here's the manage meals components.--- Almost ANY of them will end up a poisonous for your frame when you devour an excessive amount of of them. A well rule of thumb is "the whole lot moderately", then you're going to no longer undergo the identical destiny because the lab rats that ate (triple their frame weight in aspartame each week) till they died.
