Yes -depending on how bad it is-you need to get in real good shape first-in most cases if you strengthen your lungs and circulatory system -you can minimize it affects-I had slight ashtma-and joined the Navy during Vietnam-got in good shape (Navy Bootcamp was a lot tougher back then) I did well.

It depends upon several factors.
1) Do you currently have asthma? Then probably not
2) Were you diagnosed with asthma prior to 10? Maybe if a doctor says you no longer have asthma. Then you pass the test of the Marine doctors.
If you were diagnosed with asthma after 10 but fell you no longer have it, it will be difficult but it is a maybe. I don't think any of the branches of service will take you.

N O, but then again, it would be better if you went
to a US Marine Recruiter and get more up-to-date information on Asthma and other medical problems. They will be more helpful to you!!

I really can't say. Because they never let a flat foot person enlists in the reserve,so you may need to check it out.

Depends on the severity... their physical exam at the Indoctrination Center will let you know...

Generally no....Ulcers or a history of them can keep you out

if you've had an attack in the past 5 years, no.

they check you on the physical usually.

It used to keep people out. Now, with Dubya in office, and his Hitlerite wars of aggression, they'll take anyone with a pulse.

Honey, if they are letting criminal into the ranks of the Armed Forces, I don't see anyone with a medical problem unless it is chronic not getting in
