Flirt gently. Give him the flirtatious eyes, the giggle, and hang out with him alot. Try to get him to open up a little but do it secretly! He will relize what a great person you are just by you doing that!

i agree with karebear, flirtting will give him little hints that your into him. perhaps saying "hi, how are you today" when you see him. At lunch ask if you can sit with him, but try to sit across from him (this will let him see your flirts better). Give him complaments once in awhile (not to much or you might creep him out)
