The first line is to call the prescribing physician to have a new prescription phoned in, if this is not possible, then take the empty container to the Emergency Room, or Psychiatric ER if your area has one, and then go through the screening process to get a prescription written for a new supply and be certain to make an appointment to see the original prescribe as soon as possible.

You shouldn't run out. You need to make sure you call your doctor's office when you still have a few days of medication left. But if you do run out, you need to call the doctor immediately. No matter what time of day or night. Those medications cannot be stopped. The doctor will call in some pills to get you through until you can come in the office and get a full refill.

Telephone your doctor's surgery and they will help you. Or you can telephone your doctor's emergency line ( if out of hours) and they will give you a local clinic or centre who can issue them to you. You will need to take i.d. with you.
