be careful.
seems to be a trend lately...all these people asking about lip area peicings...make sure you relly really want one.
then wait till your like 16 or 17.

You can get it done at a really **** studio. If you look older than you are, you might get lucky.
On the other hand, places that don't check ID are often unlicensed, unclean, unsterile and unsafe. You''re likely to end up with a wonky piercing with poor jewellery in it, feeling utterly miserable. Once you take it out you will have a small reminder of your idiocy.
Wait until you're 16, got to a decent studio where you can make friends with your piercer, get decent aftercare advice and a phoneline for you to call if you have a problem.

why do people keep giving stupid answers? if the question is can you get it at 14, nobody wants to hear opinions about piercings like wait or they're gross. i guess some people don't have parents to tell them to keep their mouths shut if they don't have anything intelligent to say...
anyhow, if your parents are cool with you getting it there shouldn't be a problem. the place will determine what kind of documentation you need, some places will want a birth certificate and your parent's id to prove that they are actually your guardian and have the right to let you get it. some places will be ok with a note, some places will want your parent to actually go in.

well when i got my lip pierced i had to be 16 and show i.d but i guess some places won't ask but the best ones will, if i was you i would wait then you can go with your friends

With a parents premisson you can get it. I would not reccommed doing it yourself! I would wait til 16 but its your body so yes it is legal with parents permission.

You have to be 16 and your parents must provide proof that you are 16 (photo ID) parents must provide birth certificate to prove they are your biological parents. If they are your legal guardian they must provide proof of it.
