sometimes i am not a nice person. I know that people can be mean or get angry, agressive, or just go crazy. I have been told that i should get mental help, or go to a counselor. Ok, i have done all of this, only to find out that i need to learn how to control my anger, try to think positive, and treat others the way i would want to be treated. I have tried all of this, but sometimes my temper fuse gets over worked. I grew up around people like this, never had nothing nice to say, didn't like some people, and some never liked them selves. Then in my late teens i married a someone with multi personality disorders. That was no better than the people i grew up around. I am changing myself for the better, taking some anger management classes, i write in a journal, i try to not let things get to me. But, sometimes i still act mean. I am not agressive, just have a bad attitude towards everything at the time i am angry or irritated. Then i am fine. Anyone have any suggestions?

I too have anger problems, even though my husband says I can be the nicest person on the planet, But he is sometimes concerned with what I may do, Personally I believe I am a miserable person at times nothing makes me happy and theres just no cherry on top, I do try sooo hard but the harder Itry the worst I get , yes I have been to a shrink and done all the things you describe and now am on a medication for my anger, I am always stressed even though my home life is beautiful, but still agro mum and dad were also fairly aggresive people and may be its stemmed from a young age anyway it was refreshing to see your question and I hope others will answer so then we can both get some advice. All the best my agro friend

Maybe an outlet for your frustrations/anger? Exercise or a hobby? And I know it sounds corny, but sometimes even our diet can have a huge affect on our behavior. A lowered glycemic index can also stabilize moods (I found this out as a side-effect).

One time my older brother hid my Nintendo DS and I got really mad, so I told my mom. I don't know what she said, but my brother was nice to me for the rest of the day and he even gave me back my Nintendo DS so I can play Animal Crossings: Wild World.

Don't bother-if you are mean, then stay that way ---you must be street wise..
