According to the law, your parents must accompany you to the piercing studio, present their driver's liscence for copying, and sign a waiver.

However, some shops have their own rules and will not pierce a minor below a certain age. All shops are unique, and you should call and ask this question before you get pierced.

And here if you have parents permission and your 16 /older you can.

If your 18 here, you can get it done yourself.


Usually parlors will do it if you have a parent and they make you sign a form and etc. If your 16 and 17.

Yes, you have to take them with you and they will most likely have to sign a permission slip. But, it can be done. I would go to a tattoo parlor. It is a little more expensive but they are specially trained in piercings.
