I've been with a guy for 1yr, but we recently had a conversation about us. He told me that he doesn't want to fall in love right now. When I asked him why, he said because I don't want to, but he cares about me and i'm his best friend. We're young, & i'm his first relationship. I was steering the convo towards us breaking up but his roommate came & we couldn't finish the convo. After it was like the convo never happened. I'm wary of being w/ someone who doesn't "want" to fall in love. In my experience it just happens. You don't have a choice. I want to distance myself from him because I feel I will just get hurt. What makes it even more difficult is the fact that I met someone new, who has made it obvious that he wants to date me. He is more passionate about life, fun, ect.. I'm attracted to him & would like to date him but I feel like I would be betraying my "boyfriend" since we never finished the convo & are still talking. I also don't know if i'm just wasting my time w/ him Help?

ok... well, i understand that u don't want 2 "betray" ur "boyfriend", but in that short convo w/ him, i think he made it clear that he is ur 'best friend'. but i am also a female and i understand that u need clearance. my opinion is that u go ahead and finish the convo. if u truely have feelings for this other boy than u should make sure that u 2 r broken up... (u don't want any drama) u should do this because he may have changed his mind. u also need 2 take a little time 2 urself 2 think ur relationship thru.. "who do u have feelings for the most?".... "is he really worth it?"

You are not wasting your time, I try to answer all girls BF problems, and a few others.
Go uot with the other guy, the one that like you. Better yet, date him. You will never find your true love by dating one guy all at once. You can still be best friends.

First, you need to finish the conversation. After that you need to decide what the best decision is for you. Besides, it is only your first relationship you don't have to fall in love. Good Luck.

Call him or have him over-- break up with him. Why would you want to be with someone who has no desire to love you ? Dump him first.... then get with the guy you seem more interested in.

Maybe he is gay. I don't know, but it's just hard to belive, that he really wants you if he said things like that. You should finish that convo...
