Try using NON-TOXIC easter egg dye--dip a sponge into and gently dab at the kitty's fur. We used to color our dog's tail and nose every Easter. She lived for 13 years and the only damage she suffered was a bruised ego. The dye can be washed out after a couple weeks, or it will fade on its own.

What do you mean a boiling pot? are you planning to cook your cat for Easter? A black cat would be hard to get a light colour. Take her to a groomer and let them advice you, don't do it yourself, you might hurt her skin. Oh, just leave her alone, my cat is black and beautiful just the way she is, cats aren't meant to be dyed.

Are you out of you're ever-lovin' mind??? There are enough animals getting sick right now and you are taking a chance on doing it on purpose?? Someone needs to put you in a boiling pot! Cats are not toys to 'dress-up'...get a doll!

I have never heard of anything more infantile and retarded as wantng to dye your cat for and Easter egg hunt. You did notice that your cat is not an egg?

don't do it she will never forgive you and you will be scratched to pieces and you will deserve it. she likes being the way she is now cats were not made to be dyed in any colour so leave be. i think it is creul to do so and would never consider it for my black cat. get her a fancy collar or custume if you must do anything. and hide a real easter egg instead and cat a surprise toy for your kitty aswell.ps for the custume for a cat try your nearest pet store or try googling it.

Don't bleach, don't dye. A really dumb idea bordering on animal abuse. Get a costume.

Well, if you're really stupid enough to do this, then go ahead. Your cat will get an allergic reaction, and maybe even die.

Hey dummy, you'd better make sure you use non-toxic stuff. Don't BLEACH her hair because she'll attempt to lick herself and get sick.

You can't be serious. Besides that's cruelty to animals and you'll be put in jail.
