The major islands of Hawaii are, in order, Kauai, Oahu, Molokai, Maui and Hawaii; so Hawaii or the Big Island as we locals call it, is furthest from Oahu and Honolulu. The Big Island has active volcanos, it is the largest, youngest and still growing, and the other islands can fit into it. The island of Kauai is the most picturesque and the scenery is incredibly awesome. There is the Waimea Canyon which has been nicknamed The Little Grand Canyon, and is quite spectacular. Kauai is the oldest island and many people love to visit there just for the scenery alone (small wonder why Hollywood films many movies there). As far as other cities outside of Honolulu, you'd end up on the North Shore then, where the surfing mecca hails and we have some incredible waves here. The towns of Waimea, Haleiwa and Pupukea are small world and timeless, no tall buildings, etc. and usually all sunshine, tanning lotion and scenic beauty. Aloha!

IF you're talking about the state in general, the furthest towns would be either Hilo on the island of Hawaii or Lihue on the island of Kauai.
IF you're talking about on the island of Oahu (where Honolulu is) then the furthest towns are either towns like Haleiwa on the North Shore, Laie which is like old Hawaii with it's country attitude, or Kailua/Kaneohe which is on the windward side of the island.
As far as weddings go, anywhere you go is nice for wedding though most people who get married on the beach lean towards the windward side for it's lush beauty.
Hope this helps.....

Honolulu is on the southern part of the Island of Oahu. Kauai is the further island west of Oahu. Travel time by air is an easy flight of about 35 minutes.
The Big island of Hawaii is the furtherst east of Oahu. That is also where Mt Kilauea is. Its about 40 minutes by air.

I'm guessing you're looking for Hawaiian islands?
Kauai will be the farthest...it's the northernmost island.
Here's a few links that can help you in your planning.
