I bought 99% fat free ground turkey and made "chili" adding chili mix, diced tomatoes, kidney beans and fat-free Kraft cheddar cheese. I ate some with baked tostitos. I feel soooo stuffed.... :(

I'm trying to lose weight but I love to eat! Ha! I hear I should increase my protein. What else should I do?!

it doesn't really matter what you eat. to lose weight you need to expend more calories than you consume. whether you're eating 500 calories a day of vegetables, or 500 calories of chocolate, you will lose the same amount of weight.

the chili sounds healthy enough but you should concentrate on how many calories are in your food vs. how active a lifestyle you lead.

what should you do? keep track of your calories, if you need to feel full eat filling, low calorie foods like vegetables. or exercise more to make up for eating more. good luck

try this website - http://whfoods.org/cookhealthy.php
your chili sounds healthy
upping your protein is for sure a good idea. protein-rich foods besides turkey are beans (black beans, chick peas/garbonzo beans, soy beans etc) other lean meats, sea food, seeds, and nuts.
you should also just eat mostly veggies and fruits (try a food youve maybe never had before - like fennel or kiwi) but if you hate veggies, try V8 fusion. i love it, its a juice with half veggies and half fruit but it tastes like fruitjuice.
as well as protein and whole grains like whole wheat bread/pita, brown rice, barley, oats
back off sugar and animal fats (bacon, milk, butter etc) replace sugar with honey or blackstrap molases. instead of cream or milk, try soy milk, and instead of butter try canola or olive oils
these tips will help you loose weight and just make you more healthy. oh and drink tons of water

You sould do a water fast. I know it is the hardest ting to refrain from food but in the end you will be so glad you did it. You can also go on a juice fast, it will take longer but it works too. I included a link that you should read.

It doesn't seem at that bad to me, it looks like it would have alot of fiber, but I don't think increasing protein intake will help loose weight.

Yes that's a great meal, I like that too! Go to your search engine and type in "how much protein do I need?" and you'll find all you need and more....
