i have just started a new job. and there is a girl there who is only 17 but I'm 25 is this to much of an age gap. i like her and i know she likes me but its the age thing plz help by leaving ur thoughts. thanks

can I just say I live in the UK and it is not against the law. the age of consent is 16 but I suppose my Qs been answered. I didn't want legal advice I wanted peoples opinion

I started seeing a guy 8 years older than me when I was 18 so it can work but be careful about the legal stuff (unless in UK where 16 is legal age!) If you like someone, age shouldn't make too much of a difference. Have always gone out with guys a lot older than me (from 5years older to 25 years older). A relationship either works or it doesn't but you dont know until you try it!

There was 15 years between my mother and father in-laws. They were married for 52 years until they passed away. If you live in the UK the legal age of consent is 16, so there is nothing to stop you. good luck.

if she were older it wouldnt matter but 17 is still a kid really. You are too old for her now. Think back to when you were 17 and im sure youll see the maturity gap is huge.if she were 25 and you were 33 the age gap wouldnt matter because the maturity would be there

i can relate to your question....reason being i was a sixteen year old girl and i fallen for a bloke who was 13yrs older...we didnt see it as a problem...especially if it was mutual and if you are questioning it then maybe you seem to think it is...but if you both like eachother...then why not however some other people may seem to think differently...i would suggest to take things slowly and whatever you do, do not rush into anything even if she is up for it considering she is still 17 she may not know her own mind even if she seems mature and grown up, you may find that you have not much in common!! Good luck and I hope things work out for the best - whatever you do, dont let her down or yourself.

Yes that is a big age difference...but i really do not think age matters..as long as you arent like a creepy pedafile guy...if she is a mature 17 year old girl and you respect her than i say go for it..just remember..she is not legal so intercourse is very illegal and you could end up in jail for 10+ years

As long as you two like each other,age shouldn't be problem.I think 8 years isn't that much of an age gap,I've seen a lot worse.Just enjoy your relationship!

maybe you should wait until she is 18...... but no I think it's an OK gap if you can handle a young girl. Figuring that she probably hasn't gone through all the relationship errors that you have, and that she can learn from you.

there is an age gap of 14 years between me and my husband.age is nothing,dont listen to people who say otherwise.if you love each other then i dont see a problem.go for it and GOODLUCK!!!
